Syllaby details from its pricing page, homepage, faceless video guide and long-form video page, checked September 2026.

What long videos cost on Syllaby

Syllaby charges for faceless video by the minute: 13 credits a minute, with part-minutes rounded up. The video counts on its plan cards are 1-minute videos at that rate. Basic's 500 monthly credits come to about 38 of them.

Longer videos use proportionally more. A 20-minute video takes 260 credits. A 60-minute video takes 780, more than the 500 credits a month on monthly Basic; Standard's 1,500 credits cover about 115 minutes.

Animatic prices each step instead. Credits pay for images, AI narration (about 3 credits per minute) and script drafts, and every step shows its cost and your balance before it runs. Your plan sets how long a project can be: 60 minutes on Creator, 3 hours on Pro.

Directing a narrated video scene by scene

In Syllaby's faceless video workflow, you choose the model, art style, duration, script, voice, subtitles and music, generate the video, then refine it in its editor.

Animatic splits the job into steps you can check: the scene plan, then the visuals, then the timeline. At each step you can change one scene without touching the rest.

  • Edit what each scene shows before any images are generated
  • Regenerate one scene and keep its earlier versions
  • Save a Visual Style (prompt, references and aspect ratio) and reuse it every episode
  • Set motion, transitions and 2.5D Cinematic Depth scene by scene
  • Keep recurring people, places and objects consistent with Continuity

Syllaby vs Animatic questions

Is Animatic a good Syllaby alternative?

If your main job is producing narrated videos, yes. Animatic gives you a scene plan to edit, a visual generated for each scene in a saved style, and projects up to 3 hours. If you need avatars, topic research or scheduled posting, Syllaby covers those and Animatic doesn't.

How many Syllaby credits does a long video use?

Syllaby charges 13 credits per minute of faceless video and rounds part-minutes up, so a 20-minute video uses 260 credits and a 60-minute video 780. Starter includes 100 credits a month, and Basic 500 on monthly billing.

Does Animatic post videos to YouTube or TikTok?

No. Animatic exports a finished video file for you to upload. Syllaby can schedule and publish to YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Threads and LinkedIn from its content calendar.

Can I use my own voice in Syllaby and Animatic?

In Animatic, upload a recorded voiceover with Start with Narration: it uses no credits, and the scenes follow your timing. Syllaby can clone your voice from a 30-second sample on its Basic plan and above.

Can I try either before paying?

Animatic has a free plan with no card, for projects up to 10 minutes. Syllaby has no free trial, but its cheapest plan is $9 a month and it accepts refund requests within 30 days of payment.
