Hey, I'm Oscar, the Founder of Animatic
Animatic began as a private tool I built to help me create long-form videos. Over the years, it slowly became more and more useful until it reached a stage where I thought it would be genuinely useful for creators, and offer value that simply can't be found elsewhere.
Many of the other tools on the market are missing something: they either rely too heavily on stock images, are super expensive or generate short, inconsistent clips, and most tools are built around technical capability rather than the craft of long-form storytelling.
Animatic is different: it was built from the ground up for long-form video, perfect for YouTube, storyboarding, or education. And it was built by myself and my team, who understand and deeply care about helping people create original, compelling content that's as much a pleasure to create as it is to watch.
One of my favorite things about Animatic is the way it brings multiple forms of media together. You can use frontier AI video where movement matters most, then combine it with high-quality generated imagery brought to life through cinematic motion and depth effects. This makes it possible to create something visually rich without paying to generate every second as video.
Animatic is built by people who care as much about storytelling and creative judgement as the technology behind it. We want to help creators make work that feels original, cohesive and genuinely enjoyable to watch.

Why it's built this way
A narrated video needs a picture for every moment of the narration. The longer the video, the harder it is to find or make all of them and keep them looking like one film.
Stock footage rarely fits the exact line, and tools that generate a few seconds of video at a time leave you with many separate clips to line up. Animatic treats the whole narration as one project: it plans the scenes first, generates a visual for each one in a single Visual Style, and keeps every scene editable.
The first pass is automatic. After that you can change the script, the scene plan, the pace, any single scene, and the motion and timing in the timeline.
