Do I need a script or recording?
No. Start with an Idea drafts a script from your idea, which you edit and approve before anything is narrated. If you've written a script, one of 6 AI voices can read it. If you've recorded a voiceover, upload it as an MP3, WAV or M4A file.
What do the finished videos look like?
A narrated video built from AI-generated images, one for each scene, in the Visual Style you choose. Each image moves with a slow zoom or pan, and scenes change with transitions such as crossfades. On Creator and Pro, Cinematic Depth can give suitable images a subtle 2.5D parallax. Animatic animates still images; it doesn't generate video footage.
Can I change the generated scenes?
Yes. Regenerate any image, rewrite what a scene shows, adjust its timing, change its motion and transition, or reorder scenes. Earlier versions of each image are kept, so you can go back.
How long can my videos be?
Up to 10 minutes on Free, 60 minutes on Creator and 3 hours on Pro, each as one project and one export. That's a limit per project: how much video your credits cover depends on how many scenes it has and the image quality you choose.
What is included free?
100 credits, once, with no card. You can make projects up to 10 minutes with the 5 built-in Visual Styles, AI voices and the full editor. Free exports are 720p with a watermark.
Can I use the videos commercially?
Yes, on Creator and Pro, including videos with ads or sponsorships and work for clients. Meeting each platform's rules on originality, rights and AI disclosure is up to you as the publisher.
